Burns Night and The Winter Gathering
The Band holds two major fund-raising event every year. These are both great fun, and everyone is welcome. We hope to see you at one of these soon.
BURNS NIGHT
Annual - January
Our always popular Burns Night is held in January, usually on or close to Robert Burns' birthday (25 Jan). So join us to toast the Immortal Memory, the Lads and the Lassies, enjoy some Whisky and haggis with tatties and neeps, and strip the willow to the music of the Ceilidh Band - plus a bit of piping and drumming, fine company and excellent craic!
WINTER GATHERING
Annual - July/August
The less formal of the band's two annual events, our Winter Gathering usually happens in late July or early August. It includes a whisky tasting, a cheese and wine matching, the Tasmanian Kitchen Piper Cup and some great music and dancing.
